Hey- thanks so much for the comments on the blog. Apologies for delay on acknowledging them - Mr Gemmill has now shown me how to read them....I did mention in my first blog that I was 'new to this game' didn't I?! It's great to get the feedback and suggestions - I welcome them with pleasure!

Hi Leanne, thanks for your efforts to find this "book for boy" that I mentioned earlier. My kids'clues were not very helpful. The book they were looking for was actually written by Ian Whybrow (and indeed, the cover says "book for boys", they remembered that all right..). So, if you have any more of this author, could you please show them to Max and Tom ? Thank you. Thanks too for the great book that you passed on to Max, although it was not THE book, the title had similarities and I am sure we will enjoy reading that one too. Laura Chrétien.
ReplyDeleteHi Leanne,
ReplyDeleteHave we got/have you heard of 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid'? I saw it in Sydney, it looks awesome. Good for 'reluctant readers', and everyone else too...

Great work with the blog, and with the library Leanne! And yes, Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a goodie - a wide range of ages, and both girls and boys, seem to love it and its sequels. My girls have fought over it, if that's a good recommendation. Helen (Rhianna's mum)
